Description
Pandanus utilis, the common screwpine is, despite its name, a monocot and not a pine. It is native to Madagascar and naturalised in Mauritius and the Seychelles.
A unique tree with an exposed root system stands prominently in a lush garden, surrounded by various other plants. Nearby, a small pond and a walking path create a serene landscape setting, inviting relaxation and exploration.
