Description
The Madeira Auto Parade 2018 sponsored by the Classic Motor Exhibition Association (ACME) and Clube Carocha da Madeira was held on the 29th April as part of the Flower Festival celebrations.
The event included some 400 vehicles, including 150 motorcycles, which was driven through Funchal via Praça da Autonomia, Avenida do Mar e das Comunidades Madeirenses to the Av Sá Carneiro, where they went on display. The parade was accompanied by live music and costumed supporters, whose costumes have been inspired and themed to compliment the flowers of Madeira.
2018's organisers hoped to recreate a retrospective feel, reminiscent of the parade that was held in Funchal during the 1980’s.
