1285 begonnen, ist das Münster Salem nach Ulm und Freiburg der drittgrößte gotische Kirchenbau in Baden-Württemberg. 300 Mönche und Laienbrüder fanden in der 1414 geweihten Klosterkirche Platz. Im Inneren überrascht den Besucher die ganze Pracht der späten Klosterjahre.
